Joyce Chopra has produced and directed a wide range of award-winning films, including Smooth Talk, winner of the Grand Jury Prize for Best Dramatic Feature at the Sundance Film Festival, and the A&E thriller The Lady in Question with Gene Wilder.  She has received American Film Festival Blue Ribbon awards for her numerous documentaries, including That Our Children Will Not Die, about primary health care in Nigeria, and the autobiographical documentary Joyce at 34, which is in the permanent collection of the museum of Modern Art.  She received both a DGA nomination for Best Director and a Humanitas Award for the children’s film Molly: An American Girl.
Susan Monserud is a fundraiser and has served on the board of Green Chimneys, the organization that founded Gramercy Residence.  As an architect, she is responsible for the building of rural health clinics in Africa and the Middle East.  She is an exhibiting artist and visiting critic at the Yale School of Architecture.
Don Lenzer has 30 years of experience and over 45 documentary credits to his name.  His films include the 1998 Feature Dcumentary Academy award winner The Long Way Home, the 1997 AcademyAward nominee Susanne Farrell: Elusive Muse, the 1996 Primetime Emmy winner ItzakPerlman:  In The Fiddler’s House, 1995 Academy Award winner Maya Lin:  A Strong, Clear Vision, and the 1984 Academy Award winning documentary He Makes Me Feel Like Dancin’.  His 1988 Television special  I Have AIDS, A Teenager’s Story won the prestigious Peabody Award.
